These upgrades were added with the Remake and can offer a whole host of various abilities that add something different to each weapon such as adding the burn effect to the Plasma Cutter. During the playthrough I encountered a few different Necromorphs, mostly the familiar ones that have been present in the past games, but now there are more with human qualities and can wield weapons and guns, making them an even bigger threat than before. As you progress through Dead Space Remake, you may be lucky enough to stumble across a weapon upgrade. Of course restoring power to the ship awakens all of the dormant Necromorphs, and they'll attack from just about any opening they can squirm through. Cramped corridors of a rotting vessel with derelict machinery everywhere that needs to be reactivated to get systems up and running again. Getting on to the Roanoke is where things feel the most like Dead Space. In a spot of good luck they find the Roanoke and are able to get inside to find Ellie. The ship is destroyed and Isaac and the crew on board are sent hurtling through space on a tiny survival vessel. After an uneventful jump through space, the Eudora finds itself smack in the middle of a mine-field. Upgrade the plasma cutter as quick as you can and it’ll be cake. Have crush at half game, dont wanna try another run. Also one of the most iconic guns in the Dead Space franchise. impossible mode have only one trouble - stuck/crush and other bugs, its not so hard. Getting on to the Roanoke where Ellie is located isn't the easiest of ventures as Murphy's Law continues to make its mark on Isaac's journey. The Plasma Cutter has been a standard issued tool used by the miners in the Dead Space story.
